I recently realized, as I looked around my overflowing library, that as much as I AM in fact a second hand hauler on most fronts, I had become completely engrossed in the consumerism of the bookish world. After watching a video by Cindy @ ReadwithCindy , I really started to think about why I hoarded all of these little trinkets and items. I don't need them. They look like clutter, and they are pretty pointless.
So, sitting at my desk - looking around at my prints and candles and items, it just hit me, full force that it was time to say good bye to the world of gathered crap on my shelves. BUT WHY?! DON'T YOU LOVE THREE DARK CROWNS?! WHAT ABOUT THE LUNAR CHRONICLES?! OMG! WHY?!
Don't fret my darling. I will keep special items that mean something, pins and usable items a like, but it's time to purge myself of the clutter and go into the new year with a fresh, clean surrounding, and back to my true second hand focus - BOOKS! I got too lost in the trading and excitement of the trinkets that come, and forgot the my purpose for this was to remain true to my goal of never paying full price for a book (legally!) and providing as many reviews and resources for you as I can.
So with that came a huge u-hauling of my prints, bookmarks, candles and all the little things that no longer serve a purpose in my life. But hey, my loss is your gain, right?!
If you are interested in seeing what is still available from my un-hauling head over to my FB book group: North American YA Addicts!
Until next time,
<3
